![]() ![]() What I did was change the sound output device in in-game settings and change it to different one (Random output at first, then to my head-set later) and that solve the problem. So basically I've had the same problem, my average FPS is around 160-200 and one day I set up a new head-set and suddenly the FPS dropped to 30 capped (On Ryzen 7 2700X with RTX 2060). Not sure if this will help because it happens under different situation but I'll try anyway. Iv'e tried redownloading multiple times even onto different drives but the problem persists,Ĭould it be a patch that messed me up? Some other strange reason?Īny insight at all would be greatly appreciated. It is also important to note that this occurs on all graphic settings from highest to lowest - same FPS drop and stuttering. This same stutter happens every 30 seconds or so regardless of the game situation, it could happen both in intense team fights but also just sitting at main menu. This only occurs in DOTA and started in the past 3 days. My PC has ran DOTA flawlessly for years and continues to do so with other very demanding games. I've tried some basic fixes but nothing has worked. It feels very similar to the stutter after tabbing back into the game. In addition to the drop, it feels as though the the game slightly freezes for a split second. I recently have been experiencing an extreme stuttering and fps drop in game, going from 120+ fps to 20-30 fps for about a second. ![]()
